In other news, I sold my trustee work-horse to make ready for the new 4k digital cinema camera. We were sad to see him go but confident he went to a good home (thanks to Carl in South Dakota).

Spent last Sunday/Monday in San Francisco hanging with Tyler and Susan. Tyler was my roommate Senior year of university. We used our respective diabetic conditions to secure the extra-large handicap suite in Robson. Ahhh... good times. Back to the present: our weekend in San Fran was punctuated by a couple outstanding meals. I discovered my new favorite beer at the Gordon Biersch brewery (Maerzen), and we had the best clam chowder bread bowls on Fisherman's Wharf. Yummers.

Since the recording studio (former garage) is almost complete, we thought I should start practicing some "rock star" poses. For the photo buffs: we're trying to emulate the Jill Greenberg look. We're not there yet, but getting a little closer. Click pic for a few more frames.

Everyone should take a little drive to Coffee Creek out in Trinity county. It's splashy with color. Click for more falltastic photos. If you do drive out here's some advice: If the thing looks like a wasp nest, it probably is. If you're going to throw rocks at it, make sure you have an exit strategy.
